Chocolate Sauce

We use this for an ice-cream topper.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup cocoa or cacao powder
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup half and half

Method:

Melt butter in a sauce pan over low heat.
Add sugar and stir until it is beginning to melt.
Add cocoa and stir until well incorporated.
Cook over low heat until it is bubbling.
Add half and half and stir to incorporate well.
Continue to stir until the mixture is smooth.

Remove from heat and cool.
Pour into a jar and store in the fridge.
